Take home this Hanford themed painting (painted live during the gala!) by Coast Salish artist, Peter Boome of the Upper Skagit Tribe. Coast Salish work is a regionally specific indigenous art form whose only authentic creators are Indigenous Coast Salish peoples from the Salish Sea areas of British Columbia Canada, and Washington State. Peter works in a wide variety of mediums but is best known for his graphic designs, and hand-pulled serigraphs that he prints himself. Peter has won numerous national awards for his painting, carving and print-making.
